Our guest for this episode is entertainer Bobby Rydell.
Rydell made a name for himself in the late 50's through the mid-60's with a long series of hit singles but, even while being a teen idol, he was branching out into singing at the Copacabana, in film and on television variety shows.
In 2012, he narrowly escaped death when a kidney and liver were found for him at the last minute.
Rydell tells these stories and many more in his new book Teen Idol on the Rocks: A Tale of Two Chances.
